basically l always thought it was a guy there was nothing wrong with, but a guy nothing ever ever went right for, and the kate couldnt like him... but he was still there for her [hoping she'd see him for what he was] and it didnt work for them... but he was still good to her as a friend... l dunno l take this song way way way too personally because l'm kate in every instance of the girl, l'm sad, but l laugh, l'm a paradox and this song is kinda written in riddles.
