Love this song, love the band. It's obviously about a break-up, two people going their seperate ways after a long relationship. It's a celebration, it seems - it doesn't eulogise about the relationship, it's optimistic about the future.
I like the line, "You live for the weekend/ And I live forever", too - it's about how the two people are inherently differently, and I tend to come down on the side of the singer.
