I'm not quite sure...this is a good song indeed. It kind of has a schizophrenic feel to it, the whole transition from the lullaby of "Now go to sleep", to the scraping sound of "nightmares makes these".
And then the "This is the worst thing that you have ever done", as though he's screaming at himself.
