Silent Drive is great. I'm friends with the drummer, Dave Joyal. I went and saw them play in Charlotte about a month ago. Good stuff.
I think this song is about either leaving people you know, such as graduation, or how you want something to go the way you planned it, and everything went wrong. You can cry about it, mourn, whatever, but the best way to deal with it is to smile every time you think about it and think about the good impact you had on the people you knew.
