Like most pop songs, this one is no different in its being simple. The lyrics are not very deep, but the meaning is a little more complicated than most. To me it seems she read her horoscope, telling her she'd find love. She obviously did, and it may have been going really well, but ended, despite the horoscope saying it would last forever. She still dreams of what could have been, why he dumped her in the end. Must have been her freckles, the guy may not have liked them after all.
