A very poetic, ex-love song?
I think it's about an ex coming back, through the storm of an arguement or situation. The singer is wondering what he should do about it - remembering the Golden Age when he was in love with the person before. However, his fears are kicking in now something is happening and he's not too sure.
The cries of Dispossessed Children are all of us longing for Paradise in love as well as himself. The memory bit I think is quite straight forward, he's lost his innocence and whenever he recalls some memory of before he is filled with Rage.
Or maybe it's just someone who's been screwed over too many times and can't let anyone in anymore and if they just gave it a chance then maybe then it will work.

Either way, it works and I can appreciate it.
