I think this was a very successful cover of a classic song. They do a pretty good job adding a new twist to the "gold" song that this was. My parents always used to listen to "Happy Together" all the time, and I was quite annoyed by it. I may sound a bit cliche and immature, but this actually helped me tolerate and appreciate the older version of the song.
Some parts of it does get annoying, I have to admit, but after hearing the song a couple of times, I eventually overlooked those slight mistakes and enjoyed the song as a whole.
