OpinionHead, I think it's pretty cool that this is your favorite song since it was the first original song that Mick and Keith wrote together. Keith said in an interview that their manager at the time (Andrew Oldham) told them, "How many obscure great songs can find to cover?" He then locked Mick and Keith in a room and told them not to come out until they had a song. Keith said they came out with "The Last Time". Oh well, I like the song too..
