Possibly so... but I kinda think that he had the girl but she fell out of love with him and since she was his life, his love... without her he's lifeless. He sold his soul to be with her but she just ended up being another scar on his life. Poor Norman... if he gave me his soul I'd die if I lost it. Love that guy! His singing is perfection!
