Wow, I cannot believe nobody has commented on this song! I haven't heard many of Anggun's other songs, but this one is absolutely gorgeous!
I think it's about somebody loving somebody else with all their soul, even though they do not return the feeling. They have tried to move on, but even so, they wonder why rejection always happens to them. They look to the rose as comfort, as it stands for meanings from happiness and love to death. I absolutely love this song and it has helped me through many times in my life.
