I get the impression that Frank Turner has given up on trying to change the world, realising that instead it is better to use Million Dead's music to encourage people to think for themselves and to become more proactive.
The song to me is all about not allowing yourself to become a 'headnodder', to listen to what is being said and to think independantly. I admire the way he has more respect for people who at least try to change the world, as opposed to the "fucking cowards" who sit back and critique without offering anything constructive.
