I really like this song and i agree that it could be about sheating, but it doesnt necessarily have to be just that the guy was lying to her and im thinking maybe using her in some way and thenhe dumped her, but now shes finally ready to move on and he comes crawling back.
I really love the line "theres no light at the end of the tunnel tonight, just a bridge that i gotta burn" its kind of like saying either way she wont be incredibly happy, there wont be any light, but she has to get away from this guy and eventually she will be good.
