I wouldn't call Spitting Games upbeat, but I agree with simsfreg: it could be straight out of a movie.
I picture this guy running through the rain - they're from NI after all and it rains here pretty much all the time - in some city somewhere, through little laneways, leaping over garden fences and all that kind of romantic crap.
He turns up on her doorstep to apologise, he doesn't have an explanation and neither does she.
But like a few of their other songs, he doesn't want the relationship to end and chances are, it won't.
Optimistic and sort of desperate at the same time. I don't know anyone who doesn't like this song. Except the goths in my class but they don't like anything.
