obviously, to me atleast, it's about a person looking back on their last relationship and yet still feeling something for that person.

" that makes me think that the song was written by the veiw of the person who was broken up with. they're saying that when the other person ended it, it hurt like hell since they felt for them. even know they still love them even though they feel like shit since the person has left.

Strange that you don’t seem to feel the same way." another example of bein the dumpee. i mean, after you get left on your ass, your damn well going to feel lonly and sad. and the whole "Strange that you don’t seem to feel the same way" part looks to me like the other person now wants nothing to do with him/her.
lastly. "Go ahead take it all (I honestly don’t care at all)
Set up and ready to fall (Let it fall)" is practically saying that they still want to make the other person happy and would do anythng for them...
