This song is so beautiful. It seems to be about how her obsession with someone is so extreme, she would stoop to any low - "laying, sinking, slumming, dying" - just to be with this person that night. It's totally obsessive and self-destructive.
I also love the "where am, am I? in the hallway small" etc part. Very reminiscient of a drinking/drug binge.
