This song is obviously about two men...one of them desparately wants somebody, anybody. Another comes to him, they kiss, and he's gone the next morning. It's about the desparate one being taken advantage of 'cause it says "I will give you gold and mountains if you stay a while with me" and "they kissed and the sun rose, he walked a little further, and he found he was alone." He was taken advantage of and ended up worse off than at the beginning of the song. It's a great song and very meaningful to me.
