I'm currently in a f**ked up relationship with a guy whom I used to date, and when he drinks, he realizes he still has feelings for me and wants either for me to have sex with him or he calls and asks me to get back together with him. I don't currently have a boyfriend, unless you consider him a schizo. But yeah. This song means that he hasn't totally moved on from her and is letting her know that, although he's drunk, she needs to know he still has feelings for her although he blew it before. If he didn't, he wouldn't keep coming around, drunk or not.
