They're just pretty sounding phrases if you think about it. In a way, this song was the inspiration for the ideas behind "Summer in Abaddon" because the whole record has to do with poetic and musical stagnation. It's a beautiful song and should have whatever meaning one attaches to it, regardless of what Rob or I think
