Yea Mulcahey was a radio DJ in jamaica (or some island) where he and Tom were vacationing to write some songs.
I like the lyrics...to me they describe the duality of advice people give on life and just the overal hypocrisy of the world. Maybe not to that extent, but it comments on it somewhat. Some people preach that you should slow down and enjoy life and then others say rush, never waste the day, do everything you can. In the end, you're left feeling as if you're wrong about everything because half the world feels one way about something and the other world feels the other way, and you just don't know what to do.
