I agree with alwaysf0rg0tt3n, about how this song appeals to me. Just the flow of it and everything, it's so catchy. I don't care how many haters are out there, I don't care about how many people are angry at her not writing the song, she's still performing and whether it is hers or not, I like it.

"I never walked on water Never saw a reason to be going out that far I never found a star that made a wish But now the sky is listening to my heart They can break me Make me If they want they can chase me Love me Hate me I don't care anymore"

It's like how she is and how the world bombards you with things. How numb you are.

She's been stepped on, stepped over, she's been through it all, been dying and living, been struggling and searching, and been cold and left behind.

When you're lost and forgotten and the world doesn't accept you, you can't but help know that. But you also can't help but have this desperate need inside of you to be accepted. As much as people fight the system and the world every day, they too inside would like to be accepted. They know that a part of them wants to give up. And that it is just so easy to forget your values and beliefs and join back into the world. Forget who you are. And just be loved.

"And the more I talk the less I fear No matter what you say We're still on the same hemisphere And there's comfort in just knowing that"

And finding that right person gives you the hope to go on. Like you two are like two peas in a pod, and when you're building your world it feels so good that there's someone else that accepts you. And so suddenly they are in place of that very world that you wanted so much to take you in. And then they become your world.

"(Bridge) What kind of world would it be if you ever wnet away Oh and I, I can't go back to what I had cause it will never be the same"

That's an important point. Once you're changed forever, you can't go back. If you do, it'll be different. There's no going back on your beliefs.
