yeh, i dont think theyve ever said whether the better to burn out than fade away bit was a reference to kurt cobain, but given that this album came out a year after he died, its not impossible that it was inspired by him. im pretty sure that kurt wasnt a bon jovi fan tho, if u read the cobain diaries, he actually moans that someone says theyre becoming like bon jovi (or something like that). personally i love them. this song was awesome at wembley.
