Actually, I think it's about the guy who killed John Lennon: "Listen while I load my gun He said to me" - Sorta self-explanatory. Lennon's killer pulling his gun. "Something 'bout a chosen one It's comin' back to me" - Lennon being one of the most influential musicians ever, chosen one. "Watch him while I taste the sun" - Not sure about this one, I'm thinking that Lennon is high. "He said to me Something 'bout a chosen one You'll never be" - Through ending Lennon's life, he took away the chosen one.

"Forty days won't break a man It was a bullet in his head" - Comparing Lennon to Jesus. I think he's saying that Lennon was the biggest rock star in the world, and his lifestyle didn't kill him. Instead, a bullet did.
