I think the meaning of this song is based on "Life is short, if you don't stop and look around a while you might miss it." Jack wants the train to "breakdown" so he stop and look around at all the beautiful things in life. I guess it sort of goes along with "Inaudible Melodies" since everyone is just moving through life too fast.
The third verse is a bit tricky to understand, but I think it's amazing writing. From what I get out of it, it's that your so consumed with your life and in the end you don't really know anything. "The wisdom's in the trees Not the glass window's" that line sort of reminds me of a classroom and not being able to really understand something, because you can't go out and exprience/see it for yourself.
