This, in my opinion, is about sex, but with dire consequences. But the part I find most interesting is, look at the title, it sounds like Scripture...it is. The book of Revelations, Chapter 20, number 22, is...quite fitting. It reads as follows:
"The one who has spoken these things says, "I am coming soon!" So, Lord Jesus, please come soon!"

I think Maynard writes above most "minds" most people would say its talking about lust but I don't think its necessarily talking about lust in a sexual manner. I think he is talking about lust in more of a spiritual nature. Maybe Maynard is talking about sex but he seems to always write beyond the obvious...it's always deeper than what it appears to be.
