I absolutely love this song. I think it's about this person in self-exploration. Discovering who he is, stripping himself of the layers and deciding what kind of person he is without anyone behind him to hold him back. To let him fall, and that is how he will discover who he really is. But that's just what I hear. The meaning can be pretty hard to decipher. :p
