The mistakes that I've made
No they don't seem to bother me
I sure as hell don't feel like
I missed any kind of train
If I could only show you how I feel
Then you wouldn't bother me
And then maybe you'd see why we don't mind being blind
As I was as a little child
And I'm feeling better when I'm high
With a red light shinning on a little unity
These are some of the best, most beautiful lyrics ever written and performed. I love this song and always will.
This reminds me of my best friend (who named his first born son "Shannon") and before his son was born he was living in a big yellow house with a horrible pregnant woman. He would often escape down the block to where my other "best friend" and I were living.
A comment would always be made about the "yellow house" and the "free livin lads down the street" It was a great time in my life and his son Shannon is almost 7 years old now I think.
