i think the "he's got your name, he's got your number" is more about the devil (anyone seen Blood Brothers? haha)
I'm not too sure about the date rape theme, i think there'd be a bigger deal about it. I reckon it's just about some guy who's feeling really down and worthless /alcoholic/ loser.
