When my boyfriend and I broke up I went into a stupor-type thing and listened to this song for about three days. I love it and it's all so true-ish. It sort of reminds me of Annie Hall. Anyway, the lyrics are rather obvious but it's about the aftermath of a relationship. The guy was obviously very into the person who broke up with him; since then, everything has just continued to go downhill. He's finally starting to realize that things will get better and her breaking up with him is not the end of the world. He's going to attempt to stop worrying about what she thinks of him, move on, and try and pursue his other options in life. That's what I need to do, too.
