i think this song is right on, even if it does come of as making situations look grimer then they may be for most people, i think its good that they have the guts to expose some of the problems then talk about all the cash they have now that they made it. my favorite part explains the whole song i think

the problems in the ghetto is that there is little help for people to get out, and the only way they will reach out to you is if you conform, which usually isn't SO bad, but i can 100% understand the song and not wanting to change yourself at all and still want help. ever notice the more poor a place gets the more christianity rules over it. the more churches and christian schools. I think i understand where dead prez is coming from
