I'm not quite sure if this song is mainly just a "breakup" song. In my opinion song it really isn't about an ex-girlfriend at all. This song seems to be all about vanity and putting up a false images for others. The person the guy is so upset with is himself. This is just my opinion so don't yell and curse at me if you don't agree, but here is my theory. The main character of the song is furious with himself for having this "beauty that I'm faking". He argues with himself throughout the course of the song and warns this fake version of himself not to "touch his brother" or "keep his friends". That's my opinion anyway.
