Ya know, guys, I dont really think this was meant to be a humorous song, or I guess we can say a 'non-serious' song. I think it is about the fact that all in the world he wanted to do was play music, he somehow knew that college wasnt for him, that it was a big waste of time, but he did it anyway becuase everyone wanted him to. Call it torture, call it university', I am in this exact situation. I went becuase everyone wanted me to, and it was torture, it was not where I was supposed to be, as weird as that sounds. Not that I'm knocking university or anything but like the man says, 'not for me, not for me'. :)
