To me, this song is about a perfect summer, and all the attributes that go with it- awesome days, having a summer girl, and playing lots of beach volleyball.
The best lines are at the end "summer exists in a doorway, summer exists at the fair' I can't even explain why I like these lines so much. To me, that is the definition of an amazing song.
