Okay, so this is what the DK did. They heard the Clash's version of what would happen to a middleclass man, and then they re-did for what would happen to a man w/connections.
I will further explain. The Clash's version is about a guy who works, and obvioulsy doesn't make enough money to support his wife and such. So he goes and robs people for money that he needs. He gets caught, gets sent to jail and that's it, it's over. It's on how the gov don't do anything about low wages, it drives the people to do bad things, and send them to jail.
The DK version. A laid-back guy who has no worries at all because he's got people who got his back. the guy from the song killed George and Harvey and nothing happened is in mockery. Of how if you know the gov and cops and politicians, you can get away with even the biggest scams and law breaks because they're buddies. They'll just look away. So he goes further to say he's the leader of the KKK and the cops say it's okay. Eventhough the KKK is still around, they're watched closely, but a lot of cops are part of the KKK, and the guy in the song is a cop. So the song sees the cop's point of view and how he can do anything and nothing will happen to him.
