I really love this song, it's beautiful and touching and makes me cry just about every time I hear it.
I do have a bone to pick about it though. It's about how one part of the song can be interpreted.
When he says "I know you like Adam knew Eve" I can't help but think he's talking about "knowing" in the Biblical sense, i.e. intercourse. And since this song is directed towards his daughter... well, that's just -wrong-.
However, lol, as I'm writing this, I realize that this "knowing" could also refer to the act of the creation of a child as Adam's rib was used to create Eve, just as Aparo's... stuff created his daughter.
But, of course, that leads you down the road of since Eve was a clone of Adam 'cept a woman, would their act of having sex be called masturbation or incest?
