My take on it: its about a person who is watching someone they love fall apart, watching them hurt, watching them feel pain; they want to help but don't know how. The person they love is pulling away from them, isolating themselves, doesn't believe he/she can be helped. 'I'm all for believing', could be taken on a 'I may not be able to help, but I might. Let me in. I'm all for believing...' level. Just a thought :)
