MxPx is kinda boring to me. alot of their songs just dont deal with hard issues, or express real emotions. "we'll order in and watch TV." kinda novelty wich is ok, but they arent clever enough to really pull it off in my opinion. the only really good band that can pull of the cheesey songs-about-girls is the Mr T Experience. and that isnt to say that all songs about grils are cheesey. Brand New and Saves The Day write songs about girls, but they actually put feeling into them. MxPx, it seems, does it to have fun, which is totally fine, but its kinda boring to just listen to.
