This song would have made an excellent addition to Mellon Collie. As a quite, acoustic song that is as heart-wrenching as it is beautiful, I believe that it would have been an ideal emotional stepping stone between the rage and desperation of "Bullet With Butterfly Wings" and the emptiness and jaded melancholy of "To Forgive." It was certainly better than James' "Take Me Down," which, although was a decent song in its own right, didn't deserve a place among the masterpieces Billy wrote.
