This song is about someone who uses you. But then the person getting used is putting up a fight (in the present tense). The person getting used would do anything for the other guy (I will take all of your rain for the ones you hate). I love it when she sings that part in the song. Its such a strong statement, yet, it sounds so tragic in the song when she is getting used.
