To me this song reminds me more than anything of Waldorf Worldwide- on their self-titled about how they wanted to be famous and they were so excited and young and eager. But now that they have achieved that fame it isn't completely what they thought it would be. In Waldorf they sing:

"We'll see you when we get there On the video On the radio In the magazine On the movie screen"

And awesome for them, they made it. Seriously they deserve everything they have worked so hard for but this song makes me so sad because just at that one little part it feels like it's not what they thought it would be:

"I only wanted a magazine I only wanted a movie screen I only wanted the life I’d read about and dreamed And now my mind is an open book And now my heart is an open wound And now my life is an open soul for all to see"

Like sick of being asked by preteen girls to have 10,000 of their babies, and being photographed and whatnot.

Regardless of what it means this is a beautiful song and as always I love hearing Benjamin sing a little bit.
