I agree that this song could be about abuse. Really, it's how you take it. I can relate to this because last year, I lost a lot of my innocence. I tried drugs. I tried drinking. I got into a really bad relationship. I snuck out and got busted by the cops. When all of that happens, you do feel like your innocence has been taken from you. I think it's about a girl like that. Rumors get spread and all but you never are the same and yeah, you do act strong in front of everyone else but when you're alone, you bust out crying, letting the tears roll down your face. Nobody hears you and if they do, that don't help you. They leave you to your own devices.
