well i was confused for a good while, especially at the semen part. i was like wtf? but really, LJetta33 prolly hit it right on the head- look at the lines "for rain that's fallen halfway down the sky", "you float like an angel", "i don't think you'll feel it now". plus the abortion theme finally makes the semen line fit in. the whole tone was always about something unfinished to me (like a pregnancy?) like a mixture of remorse and vindication. a genuine apology that almost sounds sarcastic because of relief that it's over.
