"In the early part of 1990 my girlfriend took a trip to New York and while she was away I got this terrible feeling that something was going to go wrong with the plane. I can't explain why or how but this feeling grew so strong that I was actually up at night worrying about it. I did what any self-respecting writer would do if their loved ones were in danger... I wrote a song about it. It turned out to be a checklist of all the things I loved and hoped for, and a few queries about the future."
