I used to dig Limp Bizkit.. Significant Other was a good album.
so let's get to the song. it seems obvious to me that the story of the song is as follows:
Fred falls in love. (and from what I can see, when the poor boy falls, he falls HARD.)
Fred's object of affection cheats on him.
Fred finds out and is rightly pissed.
she tries to make up to him by making him cookies.
Fred, hurt, says "fuck off, I just did it for the nookie" and rejects the peace offering.
honestly, I think Fred is a big softie (not an insult, an observation.) who gets hurt too easily by people, thus putting on his "macho and angry" mask to hide the fact that he DOES shock and amazement cry about things like every other human being does.
and I think that's why so many people hate him--because he's not letting the world see the real him, but the fake "MACHO ALL THE TIME" side. (come on, Fred, it's okay to cry!)
