haha i love this song. i love the "thats OK man, cos i love god." some religious people think they can do anything and god is on their side. thats probly not what eddie was writing about, but thats what i get from it. the "always keep it loaded" chord progression is so out of left-field and brilliant - i heard that mike mcready forgot to change to it once playing live cos it comes out of nowhere.
I was listening to it at school today and thought the same thing about that "thats ok man, cause I love god" part. He's definitely mocking them, but it could either mean that they think they are invincible with "god on their side", or maybe that they can do bad things, but get pardoned for it because in the end, they love god, so they'll go to heaven regardless of what they do.
