Cobain is way off. And the reason is because I was reading an interview that Shaun did with Kissrocks FM out of San Antonio Texas and he said,
"It's about how a relationship can get so out of control and crazy. Like the relationship my Mom and Dad had. They were crazy. The relationship was crazy. And, it's just about any relationship can get to that point. So out of control..." So, the song is about his parents, and metophorically, for any relationship that is like the one they had.
