Seems to me the songwriter had a breakup in which it was the girls fault. Even if he loved her, she still fucked up bad, and fucked him over good. She saw a weakness, being its about a girl, she probably saw he was a nice guy, and would be very easy to try and manipulate. I think its a crying out to the girl, not believing she did it, but yet still anger at the fact she did.
