Lyric discussion by eytanmirsky

Maestro's the only one who's getting the point here, in my humble opinion. Though the lyrics seem to be promoting understanding, the narrator is asking the girl to see his point of view. If she doesn't, he says, things may fall apart. He NEVER entertains the notion that he should try to see it her way. It's always seemed to me to be poking fun at a character who can't see that his own stubbornness is sabotaging his relationship. (If this isn't true, then the lyrics are some of the most unintentionally insensitive I've ever seen!)
