Let me just state, as a disclaimer, that I'm a HUGE fan of The Who and I despise Limp Bizkit in general. Now, that being said:
You pompous piece of trash. This is a fine cover. It doesn't have the total feel of the original, but it's an adequate interpretation. The fact that you claim the original is "one of your favorites" and this is "the worst cover song ever" raises questions about your actual objectivity. Stop trying to sound smart and cultured with your put-down of Limp Bizkit and worship of The Who on what is two very similar versions of the SAME DAMN SONG. You are definitely the stereotypical ignorant trash Eagles fan. (But they have one hell of a team this year)
On the other side, you're so right about how they left out the killer solo, which is the highlight of the song for me.
