I could be totally wrong, but the more I listen to this song, the more I understand that Brendan is putting his foot down and saying good-bye to an abusive, unfulfilling relationship -- his ex-paramour is a deceitful liar whom he has apparantly forgiven over and over again, but no more! "I don't believe you anymore..." And towards the end, in so many words, he's letting the bytch know that she lost a good thing...good-bye!
