I can relate to this so much. I love the imagery described. The creativity that went into writing a song that begins with the nostalgia in a past relationship and the reflective discription explaining how life is now, without that significant other to depend on.
Also, the materialistic metaphors used to share the differences, using a kicthen to now eat in and a bed to sleep in (when in fact it wasn't always that way).
